Depending on the type and generation of software that you have, If you own a first generation moble pre you must have the Moble Pre USB Driver 22.214.171.12431, released Nov,2009http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/download/MobilePre-USB-Drivers. If it doesn't work on multiple computers, perhaps your friend was getting rid of it for a reason? This is bad news.
If you don't see the Mbox 2 Audio Driver, look for something called "Usb Audio Device" & follow THESE steps. I've installed the interlok driver, digidesign drivers and so on. If you have any ideas of what I can do to fix this problem please let me know.
